Do you like organizing, planning, delegating, and being a part of leadership? Do you have a few hours a month? You could be our next Executive Board member!
The Executive Board of the NWNJBA is the group of people who run the club. We make the decisions about what topics we’ll cover at meetings, our guest speakers, where we’ll donate grant money, and how we will educate the public about bees. (We also do boring stuff like paperwork, phone calls, and insurance, but that’s how the sausage bee bread gets made.)
The board meets once a month (mostly on Zoom, sometimes in-person) to make decisions and move projects forward. A term of office is two years.
We’ll have three open positions for the 2025–27 term: First VP, Third VP, and Secretary. If you’re interested in throwing your veil in the ring, please read the job descriptions and then let us know!
Deadline for declaring candidacy is October 1. Elections will be held on December 7 during our holiday meeting.
