Topic: Winterizing Your Hive

If you want to be a beekeeper and not a bee haver, you need to help your colonies stay alive over the winter. We’ll explain the basics and then share the tips we’ve learned over the (occasionally very cold) years.

If you attended the spring short course at Warren County Community College, this is the first of two available field days. You must attend at least one to earn your certificate and pass the class. ​
