The varroa mite is the great scourge of modern beekeeping. Keeping the mite population down is critical to hive management. We’ll cover different methods, timing, and applications, including the NEW Varoxan.

Especially recommended for new beekeepers. Come to our mentoring yard and go through a hive inspection with experienced beekeepers.​​

If you attended the spring short course at Warren County Community College, this is the first of two available field days. You must attend at least one to earn your certificate and pass the class.
